DIY Tips Using Ecofoam ‘Fill Em Up

Updated: Nov 13, 2021

It has been over a month since the start of the enhanced community quarantine. Since then we are all stuck inside our house. We all have some extra time to sort things out in our house and do some DIY tasks. This might be the best time to be with your family.

You may do things together such as cleaning the house or cook your meals together. You may also try to do some small repairs to your house. If you prefer the latter, here are some home repair DIY tips using Ecofoam Fill em Up Spray Polyurethane Foam.

Seal those holes and gaps

 Seal those holes and gaps

There will always be gaps and holes present on the exterior of our houses. Most of the time, rodents and pests use these holes and gaps to infiltrate your home. We all hate having these critters roam around the house freely. In order to solve this issue, try sealing the holes and filling those gaps with the Ecofoam Fill ‘Em Up. This will guarantee you and your family that there will be no uninvited guests roaming around your home.

Make your home airtight

Make your home airtight

You can make your home airtight by using Ecofoam Fill ‘Em Up to seal your home. Simply apply the Ecofoam to every window and door of your house. Once the foam is expanded, it will seal all the gaps making your home airtight. You can also try to use a gun in dispensing the foam in order for you to control the amount of foam used in your DIY project.

Fix those annoying noise

The water pipe or lines in our home generates sounds that are quite annoying for our ears. Applying Ecofoam Fill ‘Em Up around the water pipe can solve the problem. Once the foam expands it will hold the pipe and reduce the noise that it produces.

Hold them in place

If your showerhead and faucet have been loosened or are wobbling, you can use Ecofoam Fill ‘Em Up in getting it firmly reattached again. Try adding some Ecofoam around the area where the showerhead is attached and wait for the foam to cure. Once it is cured, it will stick around the surface and will help stiffen the loosed showerhead again.

You can also use the Ecofoam Fill ‘Em Up for different applications such as filling the gaps and cavities around pipes, sealing electrical outlets with empty crevices. You can also use it on gas and air conditioning penetrations.
