PROBLEM
The owner decided to have an acoustic room so he wanted an insulated material that would also serves as a sound barrier that could help reduce sound from the outside and maintain the sound from the acoustic room. |
SOLUTION
Upon knowing that ECOFOAM serves as sounds barrier thus, effectively reduce noise from the outside sources by sealing cracks and gaps that allow sound to travel through the walls, floors and ceilings into the building she then decided to have it installed in her acoustic room. The wall was then prepared for installation. A 3 inches thickness of ECOFOAM was installed in the wallings. No additional elastomeric paint was applied after the installation because it is installed in between walls so no need for protection against UV. The project was done in a day. As a result, it certainly reduces the noise from the outside and maintain the sound from the inside, it also serves as an insulation material and maintaining the coolness of the area. |
